About Sobifans.net, the definitive Sabewan source
On the 7th of July, 2002, Dessi launched this site as "SO..?", and it was a small fanlisting page. In time, she
expanded the site with fanart, fiction, wallpapers and more. Katie, who was also a big Sobiwan fan discovered the site,
emailed Dessi, and pretty soon the two were email buddies.
As the site got bigger, and
Dessi's time got shorter, Dessi hired Katie, and Katie took over the fanlisting, then eventually became co-webmiss
of the site. Now, seeing as Dessi even less time, Katie is the active webmistress, and Dessi is the honorary co-webmiss.
We credit the discovery of Sobiwan to Moons of Iego.
The site featured a small Sobiwan section, the very first Sabé and Obi-Wan website ever.

Who is Sabé, and why does she get to be with Obi-Wan?
Katie Say: Sabé is the beautiful Padmé-look-alike who played her Decoy in Star Wars Episode I. She get's Obi-Wan because I read some fanfic where it happened. Please go read the stuff here about Sobiwan!

How did you make this site?
Katie Say: With the help of my muse Dessi *hugs*, Adobe Photoshop, my knowledge of HTML, and my goal for Sobiwan domination >:)
Dessi Say: Me? Lots of mad sobi conversations with Katie, and some motivational prodding. Oh, and a little bit of Jedi suggestion.
How do I do the accented é?
In Microsoft Word: hit CTRL + ' + e
In HTML/Websites: type & #233; with no space between the & and the #233;
Keyboard: Hold down ALT and press 0 + 2 + 3 + 3 (use the furthest right-hand set of numbers)
... It's éasy!
How old are you guys?

Okay, so why do I only see Katie doing updates? Who is Dessi, and where IS she?!
Katie Say: I am the update-master! Dessi gets to just sit around and eat grapes. She also keeps an eye out for new Sabewan stuff. She does her job to be sure!
Hey! I thought Amidala's Decoy was a clone!
Dessi Say: Well, no. Keira Knightley (who plays Sabé) does look alot like Amidala, so much that their own mothers couldn't tell the girls apart once in makeup. Sabé is no clone! But that's a good plot bunny...
Obi-Wan will never and can never fall in love! He's a Jedi! And besides, he wasn't even interested in Sabé.
Katie Say: It looks like Obi has done a great job of fooling everyone, because he is capable of love. All humans are, and I'm pretty sure he's a human! And who is to say he wasn't interested in Sabé? Check out the moments page where we will convince you ;)
Dessi Say: Of course Obi can fall in love! He's shown us he can have a
kind of love in the movies (enter Qui-Gon). And where would a Jedi be if he
couldn't feel some kind of love?! *points to Episode 2 'love speech'* He
*is* interested in Sabe, he has to hide his feelings for her though
(obviously!), but there are certain looks..
Siri/Obi-Wan forever!
Sure, we support that ship! But it doesn't mean we believe in it like we do Sobiwan.
I hate Sobiwan, it's the dumbest pairing in the Star Wars universe!
No one is making you look at this site! But we happen to think Sobiwan is great.
