<<< The Black Travel Dress
Padmé Amidala is never seen in this dress, Sabé is the only one seen in this gown. The first time we see Sabé, she is dressed in Amidala's regal black travel dress. A red jewel lays across Sabé's painted-white forhead. It is a robe of intricate lace accented with the symbol of Naboo royalty. It is a rainment of protest, showing Naboo's opposition to the invasion. The immense feather headress, complete with filigree and gemstone ear coverings, helps to make the petite handmadien seem more imposing and formidable. And the dress looks very uncomfortable, too.
The Dark Blue Gown >>>
As Amidala re-takes the role of Queen on Coruscant, Sabé slips into something a bit more comfortable. This dress is a rigid, heavily-textured black cloak with a gold stripe running up the front and over the hood. A steel blue gown is underneath. We barely glimpse the gown, however, since Sabé is only visible for a few moments. The gown is meant for the Senate appearance, but Sabé does not attend.
<<< Flame Gown
Sabé is visible to the right of Queen Amidala on the ship's voyage back to Naboo. She wears the beautiful flame-like gown made for Handmaidens. It looks to be made of some sort of crushed velvet material, with a cotton layer underneath. Handmaiden robes are designed to hide the wearer's identity; the hood hides Sabé's face in shadow.
It is made of soft trevella cloth colored with vibrant spectra-fade dye. The oversleeves of the gown are done in classic Naboo style and the hood masks the identities of the handmaidens.
The Battle Dress >>>
Again disguised as Queen, Sabé wears a very intricately designed combat outfit. She now wears boots and trousers. The long skirt is made of a blast-damping fabric for her protection, though it is designed to provide her with maximum range of motion.
<<< The Yellow Dress
As Sabé is freed of the Queen's role, she resumes her Handmaiden status again. She is seen wearing the elegant yellow gown, during the exile of the Nemodians, and the arrival of Senator Palpatine. The dress bears resemblance to the flame gown in basic design, but the yellow gown shows more of the wearers face and neck. it is a pleated, mustard-colored gown that pools at her feet and is secured by a wide silk obi at her waist. Velvet veils and cloaks with hand-inked red detailing on the front and back complete the look and help to hide the handmaidens' identities.
The Celebration Gown >>>
Sabé is visible to the left of Obi-Wan in a gorgeous two-layered cloak. The outer layer is a mantle of dark green velvet lined in purple accented with mint green piping and three inverted Naboo Royal symbols running down the front. The underdress is the same mint green as the outer layer's piping and has sheer, ribbed sleeves. The gown looks immensely comfortable, airy, and light to wear.
