Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace by Terry Brooks. Pages 314-315
This chapter is in Obi-Wan's point of view. It is shortly after Qui-Gon's death, and he is in the Naboo Temple, awaiting the Council's decision on Anakin. He reminices on how the battle of Naboo was won. He mentions Sabé by name, and twice. How did he know her name? A handmaiden is not publicly adored, Amidala would NEVER tell the public about the Decoy trick. So we conclude Obi-Wan and Sabé somehow knew each other.

Obi-Wan tells a story of two lovers to Anakin and a small audience, and he tells the story in such a way that it "enchants" everyone, even Anakin. Even though it's not much, it's very sweet and romantic, and it sounds like Obi-Wan knew the story pretty well ;)
